Why This Campaign?
Laughter is a lifeline. Truth is no joke.
In times of fear or control, comedians are often the first silenced. Their job? To speak the unspeakable. To poke holes in power. To connect us through satire, irony, and humor that reveals deeper truths.
When comedians are censored, canceled, or threatened, itโs a warning sign for all of us. Thatโs why we launched Protect Our Comediansโto stand up for those who stand up with nothing but a mic and the courage to speak freely.
This campaign is a celebration of comedic truth-tellers and a shield for their freedom to create, critique, and connect.

Whoโs Behind This?
Protect Our Comedians is a campaign initiated by:
Compassion Games International โ a global movement that turns compassionate action into creative social impact. Since 2012, the Compassion Games have inspired people worldwide to playfully compete in doing good.
One World โ a deep social network for collective impact, where changemakers unite to restore humanity and Mother Earth. One World is the home for our digital campaigns, including this one.
This campaign is hosted as an official Compassion Game inside One Worldโinviting people everywhere to Defend Truth Through Laughter through playful, powerful acts of cultural courage.
What Weโre Doing
Weโve launched a Compassion Game called:

Itโs a participatory call to action where everyone can get involvedโwhether by sharing, hosting, or simply laughing out loud.
How to Play:

Spread the Word โ Share campaign content and challenge others to join.
Support a Comedian โ Uplift courageous voices, especially those under threat.
Host a Laugh-In โ Organize a gathering to celebrate comedy and freedom.

Every action contributes to a wave of collective protection and cultural resilience.

Our Intent
Our goal is simple but bold:
To protect comedy as a sacred cultural art.
To support comedians who risk speaking truth to power.
And to rally a community that defends laughter as a public good.
This campaign is about more than protecting entertainersโitโs about safeguarding our ability to reflect, to dissent, and to laugh together in a world that needs it more than ever.
